The upcoming Fujairah Mountain Shooting Championship will take place from February 1st to 8th, 2025. This unique event, under the esteemed patronage of His Majesty Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, is expanding the participant limit from 480 to 550 shooters. The event offers an exceptional mix of competitive shooting and local culture in a breathtaking mountain setting.

For 2025, the organizers have listened to feedback from the last event and are making significant improvements to enhance the experience. One of the most notable changes is improving the visibility of targets. Previously, some shooters reported difficulty seeing targets due to their placement over water or their coloring. The 2025 event will address these issues, ensuring clearer targets for all participants.

Action-Packed Competition and More Time for Relaxation

The Fujairah Mountain Shooting Championship 2025 is designed to provide a balanced mix of competition and leisure. Unlike the previous event, this edition will end earlier each day, giving participants more time to relax, enjoy local hospitality, and engage with fellow shooters in the specially arranged village. This change reflects the event’s emphasis on community, culture, and camaraderie, allowing everyone to make the most of their time in Fujairah.

This year’s event will feature 24 shooting stands, each with 10 targets, totaling 240 targets over the course of the competition. Four layouts will be set near the lake, while four will be higher up in the mountains. Transportation will be provided to the higher layouts, with participants then moving to lower ones on foot. This new arrangement provides a dynamic and challenging environment for both seasoned and new shooters.

Exciting Features: Pool Shoots, Preliminary Tournaments, and Shoot-Offs

One of the standout features of the Fujairah Mountain Shooting Championship 2025 is the pool shoots, which offer unique practice opportunities. There will be three pool shoots available, where two to three participants can shoot at once. This format provides plenty of chances for shooters to test their skills and improve before the main events.

The event will kick off with a 50-target preliminary tournament from February 1st to 4th, 2025, following the “English Sporting” style. This tournament can only be shot once, providing a fair and level playing field for all. From February 5th to 7th, 2025, the “Re-Entry” event allows competitors to shoot as many times as they want, providing more flexibility and excitement.

The grand finale will be held on February 8th, 2025, featuring shoot-offs in various prize categories for the top three shooters. With hopes that His Majesty will personally present the awards, this day promises to be a highlight for all participants and spectators.
