Euro Shooting Cash 2025 – 10th Edition
Euro Shooting Cash 2025 – 10th Edition
Sologne Shooting Club, France – June 6–8, 2025
The 10th edition of the Euro Shooting Cash took place June 2025 at the renowned Sologne Shooting Club in France. Two of our WOCS ambassadors made their first appearance at this legendary competition, and quickly discovered why it has such a reputation. This event stands out as one like no other, offering an experience that is as demanding as it is rewarding.
Targets & Layouts
This three-day competition featured eight layouts of 25 targets each, all shot over four stations. The target difficulty was extreme, but never unfair! Every layout tested the full range of a shooter’s ability. Course setting was spot-on, offering a well-balanced mix of presentations that challenged focus, consistency, and mental endurance. One lapse in concentration or mistake was often enough to see a score drop away quickly.
Sologne’s venue is second to none. The course runs through a variety of landscapes, forest sections, open grassy layouts, and even lakes. Some shooting positions were elevated above ground level, with one impressive two-story-high shooting platform, giving a completely new angle to the targets.
Mano A Mano Pool Shoot
Running alongside the main competition was the Mano A Mano pool shoot, a head-to-head challenge featuring eight extreme doubles, some flying out nearly 100 meters. It was a serious test of skill and, at times, a bit of luck, just as fun to watch as it was humbling to shoot. A brilliant addition that kept both shooters and spectators engaged throughout the weekend.
In the end, after an impressive shoot-off, Matthieu Delmas claimed the grand prize: a Perazzi MX8.
Facilities & Organization
The event was run extremely well, especially considering it hosted over 700 participants. Across all three competition days, everything remained ahead of schedule, which speaks volumes about the planning and execution behind the scenes.
On-site facilities were solid, plenty of parking, a bar, and multiple covered seating areas where shooters could relax and grab a bite or drink at fair prices. The scheduling also allowed for longer breaks between rounds, giving shooters the flexibility to leave the venue for lunch or a rest before heading back in.
The only minor point of feedback would be the lack of portable toilets on some of the layouts located farther from the clubhouse. Especially for female competitors, this would be a welcome improvement in future editions.
Super Final Showdown
After three days of tough competition, the top five shooters returned to the field for a super final of 25 targets to decide the winner. The lineup alone says enough about the level of shooting at this event:
Phil Gray
Bastien Havart
Sam Green
Christophe Auvret
Jeri Tamas
In a brilliant final performance, Bastien Havart came out on top with an outstanding win. He was followed by Christophe Auvret in second, with Phil Gray, Sam Green, and Jeri Tamas rounding out the top five.
