Meet Our Official Ambassador
Hendrick wienandts
How Did Your Clay Shooting Journey Begin?
“After earning my hunting license in 2008, I also started clay target shooting. In the first few months, my father and I focused solely on Skeet and Trap. However, after a friend introduced me to a FITASC Sporting competition, I was immediately hooked and fell in love with the sport.”
What Makes Clay Shooting Special for You?
“Being outdoors year-round, competing, having fun, and enjoying my sport, that’s what makes clay shooting so special to me. Traveling across Europe and around the world has allowed me to meet incredible people who share the same passion, many of whom have become lifelong friends.”
What Are Your Proudest Achievements and Ambitions?
“One of my proudest achievements is securing 3rd place at the 2024 African Championship FITASC Sporting in South Africa, my first international FITASC competition. I also have fond memories of podium finishes at the German Championships in FITASC Sporting and Compak over the past few years. My goal is to become more consistent in my shooting and work towards higher placements at international competitions.”
Why Is Being a WOCS Ambassador Important to You?
“As a WOCS ambassador, I want to help other shooters easily find competitions worldwide. Having a centralized platform to discover events, whether in my own country or abroad is something our community has been missing for a long time. Additionally, event reviews on WOCS provide valuable insights for shooters planning their next competition, making this platform a huge benefit to the sport.”
