Meet Our Official Ambassador
Kevin Bloemendaal
How Did Your Clay Shooting Journey Begin?
“I discovered clay shooting in 2018 with my wife through a friend who took us both out for a day of clay shooting while on holiday in the UK. We were immediately drawn to the challenge and the outdoor experience. After obtaining my shooting license and purchasing my gear in 2020, my passion for the sport truly took off. The competitive nature of clay shooting and the constant drive to improve keep me coming back for more.”
What Makes Clay Shooting Special for You?
“Clay shooting has taken me to incredible places, including the 2023 Fujairah Mountain Shooting Championship and the 2024 European Championship in Malaga, Spain. Traveling has allowed me to meet amazing people who share my passion, forming lasting friendships along the way.”
What Are Your Proudest Achievements and Ambitions?
One of my proudest achievements is becoming the 2024 Dutch National Champion Parcours de Chasse (KNSA), and I’m especially proud that my wife achieved the same title on the very same day. I’m now focused on refining my technique, mastering my pre-shot routine, and gaining experience at major events worldwide.
Why Is Being a WOCS Ambassador Important to You?
“As an ambassador for World of Clay Shooting, I’m excited to help other shooters discover hidden gem events and contribute to growing the clay shooting community worldwide. WOCS fills a much-needed void by providing an easy way to find and explore local events before they happen, making the sport more accessible for everyone who shares this passion.”
